There’s no tricks, and our guarantee ensures that it works. There’s no temporary fix with poisons, no “deterrent sprays” that will fade with time. Our guarantee keeps us coming back until the activity stops, and activity doesn’t stop until we get it right! No traps and no tricks.
Our initial assessments cost $100 plus tax (more if outside our main service area – Windsor to Greenwood). It usually runs less than two hours, but some homes have taken up to five hours because some problems are complicated! Our assessments run long, because where most companies do assessments to find things that they can add to an invoice, “GOT MICE?” looks for everything that we don’t have to charge for, meaning smaller workscopes (and prices!) that deliver the same results. Our small jobs keep us busy and our customers happy!
Included in this inspection package is a detailed quote with labelled photographs of the entry points, and a map of the home if necessary, so that all the information needed to fix the problem is in your hands before you commit to our quote. One way or another, we want your problem dealt with, and dealt with in a way that gets you the best result possible.
We offer two workscopes, based on the needs of the property:
Mitigation
This work addresses immediate problems and all important preventionthat is found in the initial assessment. It comes with a one-year guarantee on all serviced areas, including free followup and repair for any deficient work.
Whole-Home Guarantee
For homes where more work is required, we address all active and potential problem areas at once, and then go above and beyond to address the entire perimeter, and from ground to roof, and then guarantee the whole house for a period of two years. Followup is free, and if we missed something, we will address it at no additional charge.
As you might imagine, mice, rats, squirrels and other critters in your walls and attic need to eat and drink. And like us, they have to leave the house for groceries! These critters might be able to store some food in your walls (and couch, and boots) but what they can’t store inside is water.
Got Mice? Humane Wildlife Services uses one-way doors (small mechanical valves) at active entry points to let the mice (or other critters) out to find water, and a combination of caulking, stainless steel mesh and custom-fit aluminum flatstock to block re-entry. Our goal is to not only block entry points, but to do it invisibly, and wherever possible improve the appearance of the areas that we work on. Careful attention is given to protect against rot and to ensure that as much as possible, our work does not create any drainage or ventilation issues – an important consideration when sealing a building’s envelope!

Pricing
Pricing can vary quite a lot. Our price is based on the dimensions of the problems, and the costs of materials. Our prices are set and measured off, ensuring common and fair pricing across the board.
Work typically starts for as little as $600 for mitigation and scales up from there based on the needs of the home being assessed.
Testimonials
We were buying a new house and it had a mouse problem. The realtor told us it was due to farmland near by, and it was just something we would have to deal with ongoing. I told him that Matt was able to make our current house mouse free, without poisons, and it stayed that way the 3 years since. The realtor looked surprised and said “I need the number of your mouse guy”.

We have a ‘70s cedar house and live in a treed area so this sort of thing seemed inevitable
A squirrel had stored nuts and enjoyed eating them loudly at night in the ceiling over my bedroom. My mom could hear the mice and was dealing with them the best we knew how at the time, with traps.
We had been living with this for awhile, and then noticed they had started to infiltrate- a bag of food in the cupboard was torn open. We did not want to use poisons or more traps, so we were very happy to see the ad at the Farmers Market for GotMice.
I was impressed from the get go. Matt did a thorough inspection, on the roof, around the chimney, and every tiny spot there could be egress. It was with a huge sigh of relief that we noticed the absence of the sounds and evidence of the squirrel and mice, for 5 years! I have recommended Matt often, and will continue to do so.

I thank you for your trip into the city to check my home for “uninvited tenants”. Very appreciative of your great work last year. Everything has held up very well. No “INTRUDERS”, so I do not think I will need to call you again Unless I undertake a major home renovation! I enjoyed our great conversations. You were very dependable, professional and knowledgeable of rodent concerns. My initial call to you one year ago was just a precautionary measure to prevent a future problem with rodents. I feel very confidant that this is one issue I will no longer be concerned about. With appreciation

Just want to say thank you to Matt at GotMice. He installed several one-way mice doors and closed off all of the areas where the foundation meets the frame work of the building with an aluminum sheathing. Matt did outstanding work and we have not had a mouse in our home 8 months later. My wife and I thank you Matt, you and your company were worth every penny!! Got a mouse problem, give these guys a call.

It started with a musky smell coming from underneath my dishwasher; or so I thought. A phone call to Matt of GotMice? and his subsequent visits informed me the musky smell was the tip of the iceberg. I had a rat, mice, squirrel and raccoon problem. Matt’s thoroughness and persistence found entry points I never dreamed of and secured them from re-entry. I sleep much better now, my house is my own.

In July I found that I had some mice in my house so I had noticed posters around my neighbourhood from Got Mice. We called Matt and he was able to come quite quickly to do a free estimate. After he surveyed the situation, he gave me 3 options to chose from, good, better and best, he also showed me pictures where he thought the mice were getting in. After choosing the best, he quickly came and installed the 1 way door system and plugged all the wholes. He called during the next 6 weeks to check on things and then re returned and took the doors away. I’ve never heard or seen any mice since then and I’m very grateful for his professionalism, his expertise and care in getting a job done well. I would have no problem in endorsing him or his product. Thanks again Matt.

I got in touch with Got Mice after hearing odd noises in our basement ceiling at night for a couple of weeks. And when we weren’t hearing things our cat certainly was, she would stare up at the ceiling for ages! We stay in an older house and I was worried if it was mice or something similar they could be chewing on wires and causing all sorts of problems. I didn’t want to kill them and I didn’t want more to keep getting in, so we hired Got Mice and their service was excellent. Matt came and checked round the outside of the house and found all sorts of ways in for mice that we had no idea were there. He did his thing and within a couple of weeks there were no more noises we could hear and the cat stopped being fixated by the ceiling! A month or so later we discovered a bonus part of the service; no more basement bees! In previous years at a particular time of year we would keep finding large bees in the basement. Once all the mouse holes had been dealt with, there were also no routes in for the bees!
I would highly recommend Got Mice to anyone with a mouse problem; it’s totally humane and fixes the problem long term.

We were referred to GotMice? by one of our members in the valley who was very satisfied with Matt’s work. As a rurally-based field station, we thought that having field mice in our building was just a fact of life. Everyone from our board of directors to summer researchers staying here for the summer was really excited about what GotMice? had to offer and although we had to do some fundraising to afford the solution, it has been well worth it! Without traps or poisons (a real ecological problem for owls, hawks, and other predators) Matt’s professional approach to solving the root problem has resulted in a much cleaner, safer, and (at night) quieter building! We totally recommend his services for homes and businesses who have GotMice.
